Christel House South Africa Christel House South A Christel House South Africa Christel House South Africa is a non-profit school with a single mission: to break the cycle of poverty. It offers no-fee scholarships to students from some of Cape Town’s poorest neighbourhoods and support them for 18 years (Grade R to Grade 12 and five years post matric) through character-based and career-focused education. Christel House chose to present their annual report in the form of a children's book, with concise copy snippets. AfriFOODlinks Crisp Media had the opportunity to AfriFOODlinks Crisp Media had the opportunity to create the logo and branding for AfriFOODlinks, a project funded by the EU that began in December 2022. The project's main goal is to improve food and nutrition security, promote positive climate and environmental effects, and develop social and ecological resilience in over 65 cities across Africa and Europe. ICLEI Africa is leading the project involving 26 partners from both continents. The AfriFOODlinks logo focuses on the project's central themes of linkages and connection. The logo can take on various forms and ideas related to connection, governance, planning, and flow. The patterned elements of the logo reflect African culture, cloth, and unique expressions seen across the different African countries. The lines represent multiple pathways, urban planning, or a whole-systems view from above. Yizani Sifunde (isiXhosa for ‘Come, let’s read) – is a literacy project from partners Nal’ibali, Book Dash and Wordworks (and funded by Community Liberty Trust).
